Aneke is one of the Spanish cartoonists who has made a strong entry into the American market in recent years, proving that she can draw in almost any genre.

Throughout her career she has signed with the most powerful publishers on the international scene, such as DC Comics, MARVEL and Dynamite. Among her most recent works, the Madrid-born artist has co-created and drawn the noir-mystery graphic novel Bylines In Blood with Erica Schultz and Van Jensen for Aftershock; her work on the graphic novel Carmen with Alek Shrader and Craig's Russell; and the culmination of the saga of The New Adventures of Esther, with a final volume written by Carlos Portela
