Javier Rodríguez began his career in the early '90s at El Víbora magazine with short stories, covers and various series such as Paraíso (Paradise), Punk Rock Bar and Comprobando la Realidad (Checking Reality).

In 2002 he released his first album, Wake Up, with Ediciones Glénat, followed by Miedo (Fear) and Lolita HR. The following year he made his debut in the United States, first as a colorist and then as an artist on characters such as Spiderman, Spider-Woman, Daredevil, Harley Quinn, Green Arrow, The Titans, Superman and the series Marvel Universe History or Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme, among many others.

He lives in Asturias and still plays guitar from time to time with his band Kactus Jack.
