The author of Vanguardia es una mujer (Vanguard is a Woman - 2024), this artist from Madrid won the first grant from the foundation El arte de volar, which allowed her to publish this first work with Norma Editorial and the support of Edelvives.
She has been working in the world of illustration for more than 10 years and in the world of animation and teaching for more than 5 years. She has worked as an art director, concept artist and background artist in several films, most notably Wolfwalkers (Cartoon Saloon 2020), where she was hired to incorporate the style of woodcut in the backgrounds of the film.
She studied Fine Arts at the Complutense and a Masters in Children's Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art, which is reflected in her work, always using traditional techniques such as watercolor, pencil, engraving... and the sweet and colorful tone of her drawings. Her creations revolve around themes such as feminism, history, travel, everyday life... but she always returns to the themes for which she started drawing: fantasy and folk horror.
