Jaime Martín (Barcelona, 1966).

Since 1985 I have been working professionally in comics and illustration.

I began to publish my first works in humorous magazines for children and adults. In 1987 I began to collaborate regularly with the underground comic magazine El Víbora. There I published my first album, Sangre de barrio (Blood of the Neighborhood - 1989), for which I won the Author Revelation Award at the 8th International Comic Barcelona Fair in 1990. I collaborated with El Víbora until it closed in 2004.

Since 2007 I have been publishing my work in the Aire Libre collection of Dupuis. Norma Editorial publishes them in Spain. In 2011 and 2014 I was nominated in the official selection of the Angoulême International Comics Festival.

In 2017 and 2021 I won the prize for the best Spanish author's work at Comic Barcelona for Jamás tendré 20 años (I will never be 20 years old) and Siempre tendremos 20 años (We will always be 20 years old) respectively.
