Cecilia Moreno (Madrid, 1980).

Since her childhood, she has had a fixation with shapes and colors, which is perhaps why she studied Fine Arts and perhaps also why she is passionate about the world of illustration, in which she has been researching, experimenting and playing for more than 10 years, which is what she loves most.
She has published more than 30 books in Spain and abroad. She has also participated in several international illustration festivals.

From time to time, she also finds time to write. Among other selections highlights the selection achieved in ILUSTRARTE 2016; Mention “Innovative Proposal” The Best Books for Children and Young People 2017 Banco del Libro of Venezuela; in The Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition in Shanghai in 2016; in CICLA Illustration Exhibition of Chen Bochui International Children's Literature Award in 2019 in Shanghai; White Ravens 2021 in Munich, the bronze medal obtained in the International Latino Book Award 2021 in California, the selection in the Ibero-American Catalog 2024 and the award for BEST CHILDREN'S COMIC in FESTILIJ 2025. She is also a two-time winner of the Cuatrogatos Award in Miami.
