Amparo Montejano, writer and editor of weird fiction. Co-director of the magazine/web platform Círculo de Lovecraft (Lovecraft Circle).
A lover of short stories who has contributed to more than fifty anthologies and numerous Spanish and Latin American magazines and websites in the fantasy genre, Montejano published her first solo short
story anthology in December 2021: Profanación. Cuentos macabros (Desecration. Macabre Tales - Luz Negra Ediciones).
In January 2023, she published her first book of essays with José R. Montejano: Editoras de lo extraño. Una historia cultural de editoras de lo fantástico (Publishers of the strange. A cultural history of publishers of the fantastic - Dilatando Mentes Editorial).
Winner of the third prize in the first Pedro Carbonell Castillero Fiction Award (2023). Finalist in the Prizes: “Todos los demás planetas” (2022), 3rd International Award on the Olive Grove, Olive Oil and Olive Oil Tourism (2021), Visiones 2019 (AEFCFT), 2nd Ripley Award (2018) and 17th Diego Granados Poetry Recital Competition (2017).
She is also a member of the organizing team of the cultural event Day of the Tentacle.
