Nadia Hafid 1990 (Terrassa). She graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and studied Applied Wall Arts at Escola Llotja in Barcelona.

As an illustrator she has worked for different national and international media like The New York Times, The Economist, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, El País, La Vanguardia, Bloomberg illustration, Forbes, etc.

El buen padre (The Good Father - 2020), her debut with Sapristi (Penguin Random House), won the award for Best Emerging Author of the Comic Critics Association, and was included in the list of the 100 best national comics by Rockdeluxe and highlighted in the compilation of the best comics of Jot Down magazine. It was also nominated in Comic Barcleona in the category of best new work Miguel Gallardo in 2021.

It has been translated into French by Casterman Publishing House and into Turkish by Beta Basim Yayin Dagitim Editions.

Chacales (Jackals - 2022) is her second comic published by Sapristi and has received the "Ojo Crítico of RNE 2022" award in the comic category and has been nominated for best work in the 41 Comic Barcelona. Nadia also won the Young Talent Award Sento Llobell 2023.

She has been part of the exhibition “Graphic constellation” at the CCCB (2022-2023) dedicated to experimental and avant-garde comics.

In 2023 she was also part of the exhibition “Excuse me, I'm talking” at CentroCentro.

She teaches editorial illustration in the Master's Degree in comics and illustration at Elisava School.

She collaborates in the comic section of the program “Las mujeres y los días” (Women and Days) with Montserrat Virgili in Radio Catalunya.

In 2024 she was the winner of the Catalan Comic Prize of the Finestres Foundation.
