Sandra Uve (Barcelona, 1972) is an illustrator, writer and communicator.

Graduated in Art at the “Escola Superior de Disseny Llotja” in Barcelona, she is the author of several graphic novels and has worked, written and illustrated for print media, radio and television.

She is the author of the illustrated books Enciclopedia de Dones STEAM Vol I i II (STEAM Women Encyclopedia Vol I & II - Generalitat de Catalunya, 2024) and SuperMujeres, SuperInventoras (SuperWomen, SuperInventors - Planeta, 2023), translated into Korean. In 2021, she was awarded the Creu Casas Prize of Institut d'Estudis Catalans “Women to change the world”.

Her exhibitions on women scientists and artists (Women of the Sea, Singular Women, How Dare They?) and her lectures and workshops are international references. www.sandrauve.com
