Iván McGill (Madrid, 1997) is a comic book author who has self-published and distributed his works through specialized shops and micro-publishing festivals such as GRAF (Barcelona) or TENDERETE (Valencia).
With a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Masters in Comics and Illustration from the Elisava University School (Barcelona), he stands out for his experimental approach to the language of comics.
From his most avant-garde perspective, he imagines future worlds to speculate on concepts such as over-information, the invisible cloud, data traffic and digital identity. His work embraces hybrid formats and codes that oscillate between various artistic disciplines such as animation, video games, computer graphics, and illustration, but always with experimental comic books as common ground.
