Jordi Ribolleda was born in Berga (Barcelona) in 1991 and grew up surrounded by stories of witches, magic and characters that did not really exist. He studied cinema and has a degree in English Studies from the University of Barcelona.

He currently works as a literary agent and writes in his spare time. El libro de las sombras (The Book of Shadows) is his first novel for Umbriel.
