Mireia Lleó (Barcelona, 1998) has a degree in Fine Arts and has studied masters in Illustration, Graphic Design and Art Direction.

She has always combined her passion for visual arts with literature. She has been writing since she was a child, winning the second prize in the Barcelona short story category in the fifth edition of the Horta-Guinardó Young Letters Contest.

In recent years she has studied at the Laboratorio de Letras, encouraged by her dream of becoming a writer.

Sota la cendra (Under the Ash) is her first novel, within the fantastic and dystopian genre, a gripping adventure that speaks of family, struggle and change.
