Gema Moraleda (Barcelona, 1981) graduated in Translation and Interpreting at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and since then has always worked in the publishing industry. She started as an editor in different companies and since 2015 as a freelance translator and proofreader.

Comic book translation is one of her specialties and among her most outstanding works we can find: Ducks, for which she has been nominated for the Sophie Castille Cómic Barcelona Award 2024, and the series Monstress, Night Eaters, Harrow County, Hip Hop Family Tree or Archie, among many other titles.
