Catalina González Vilar (Alicante, 1976), is a writer of children's and young adult literature.
After studying Social Anthropology, she worked as a bookseller and finally decided to dedicate entirely to writing.
She is the author of novels, stories for illustrated albums, informative books for young people, theater and video game scripts. Molly Wind, bibliotecarias a caballo (Molly Wind, Librarians on Horseback) is her first comic script, a project that came about while working with Toni Galmés on a collection of children's books entitled La casita bajo tierra (The Little House Underground - 2022). Together they are preparing a new project for Dupuis publishing house.
Her works include El secreto del huevo azul (The Secret of the Blue Egg); Barco de Vapor Award 2012, Los coleccionistas (The Collectors), Villa Pozuelo de Alarcón; Juvenile Novel Award 2011, Miss Taqui; Invenciones Award for Children's and Juvenile Narrative 2011 (Mexico), or La familia de la vajilla impar (The Odd Tableware Family), Edelvives International Illustrated Album Award 2016 (Spain).
