Olga de Castro (Granada 1972) is a comic author, illustrator and audiovisual designer.
Her work for the ANAYA publishing house, The call of the Wild, by Jack London (2016), and the collaborations with the writer Miguel Ángel Oeste, Carlota quiere leer (Carlota Wants to Read - 2020), Sofía, la hormiga sin antenas (Sofia, the Ant with No Antennae - 2022) and Carlota y la torre de los libros (Carlota and the Tower of Books - 2024), from the same publishing house, are some of her most outstanding works.
Other editorial illustration works include Usted no es una persona normal (You are not a Normal Person), by Borja Crespo (Ediciones de Autoengaño, 2015) and ORO NEGRO, 25 años sin Tino Casal,
(BLACK GOLD, 25 years without Tino Casal, various authors, 2015). As a comic author she published the series Historias de la Luna (Moon Stories) in the publication La Resistencia (Dibbuks).
She has done art development work in the animation sector in Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles (Goya for Best Animated Film, 2020), El gigante que quería ser pequeño (The Giant Who Wanted to Be Small, animation for scenography of theater play) and Poor Devil (2023, HBOMax), a project created by Joaquín Reyes, Ernesto Sevilla and Miguel Esteban.
In 2020 she was the Art Director of the short film La pandilla VHS “Operación Frankenstein” (The VHS Gang "Operation Frankenstein").
