Randy Stradley (Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States. 1956)

Randy Stradley is an American writer and editor. He began working as a comic book writer in 1984 on Star Wars issue 86 (Marvel Comics). Two years later, along with Mike Richardson he set up Dark Horse Comics, acting as Vice President. In 1988, Dark Horse acquired the rights to Aliens and a year later those of Predator. In 1990, Randy Stradley wrote the crossover Aliens vs. Predator.

In the early 1990s, Dark Horse acquired the licence to adapt the Star Wars universe to comic. Together with Mike Richardson he wrote the mini-series Star Wars: Crimson Empire. In 2002 Stradley became Senior Editor for Dark Horse’s Star Wars series, a role he kept until 2014, when Marvel took back the rights to the comics. Since 2016 he has been Vice President of Publishing for Dark Horse Comics.
