Igort, the artistic name of Igor Tuveri (Italy, 1958), is a multifaceted artist. A prolific author of award-winning graphic novels, illustrator and editor, he is also a short story writer, novelist and musician.

He was the first European to draw manga in Japan and has published in the most prestigious international magazines, including those of his own country. Inspired by his long stays in Japan and in the countries of the former Soviet Union, he has developed a style that combines the particularities of the graphic novel -he is considered a master in this area- and graphic journalism, becoming one of the most original personalities of the international art scene.

In 2016 he was awarded at Comicon as best designer and at Lucca Comics as best author, he holds the Naples Prize for the diffusion of Italian culture and the Romics Lifetime Achievement Award, which was granted to him in 2017. His following works have been published by Salamandra Graphic: Russian Notebooks (2014), Japanese Notebooks (2016), The Ukrainian and Russian Notebooks (2020), 5 Is the Perfect Number (2020) and Ukrainian Notebooks 2 (2022).
