The aim of the Carnet Jove COMIC Award, promoted by Generalitat de Catalunya, is to encourage and facilitate access of young cartoonists and scriptwriters to the professional world of comic books.

This exhibition gathers the projects, made up of four comic pages already finished, and created by the winner and the runner-ups of the 1st Carnet Jove Cómic Award 2024.

Júlia Sobrino Vigara was the beneficiary with her project El Misteri de la Geoda Rosada (The Mystery of the Pink Geode). The story is tells how the monotony of the children Lara, Nil and Dídac is interrupted when the presence of a geode with mysterious powers triggers the creation of a society of frogs.

She is followed by Sara Piedrafita with Nina i els Set Malsons (Nina and the Seven Nightmares), Irene Martínez Marín with L'amor és una aposta (Love is a gamble), Aina Andrés with La noia del paraigua invisible (The girl with the invisible umbrella) and Jimena Juarez Serna, who has tied with Sara Aguilar Perea with Sequera (Drought) and El darrer desig d'una estrella que es mor (The Last Wish of a Dying Star), respectively.

A total of 24 pages full of creativity that show the potential of these people, who we hope will be successful comic artists in the future.
