El jardín de datos (The Data Garden) is the first full-length graphic novel by Iván McGill (Madrid, 1997), after a decade of experience in the world of self-published comics and fanzines.

The book explores the issues emerging in contemporary technological landscapes such as big data, artificial intelligence or the Internet of Things, developments that are transforming societies and the lives of individuals.

The exhibition addresses the graphic novel developed by Ivan McGill during the COMIC BARCELONA residency for young talents that took place between December 2023 and February 2024, convened by FICOMIC in collaboration with Lyon BD Organisation.

From May 3 to 5, in the framework of the 42nd Comic Barcelona, you are invited to immerse yourself in the exhibition El jardín de datos by Iván McGill, the first beneficiary of the Comic Barcelona Grant.
