With more than twenty graphic novels to his credit and many awards to his name (including the National Comic Book Award, the San Diego Inkport Award, the Eisner or the Harvey), Paco Roca is a privileged man who has managed to live out his childhood dream of drawing comics in his pajamas. Many of his stories have been translated into other languages and some have been adapted for the cinema by Ignacio Ferreras, Alejandro Amenábar or Álex Montoya.
In addition to some of his most famous works, this exhibition will allow us to get to know his personal working technique: notes, sketches, script, pencil, ink, etc., details that are hidden behind a particular creative process and that are rarely available to the public.
“This passionate need to embark on a journey with each new project that allows me to visit the emotional places that mark the creative path, is what led me to become an itinerant cartoonist”. Paco Roca
